Program

Opening dance: a form of worship. It was a means for the early people to communicate with God to become a part of their lives through dances.

2. Mazurka Boholano: This is a traditional dance popular in Bohol, Philippines during spanish time.

3. Aray dance: A filipinized form of the spanish Jota, a flirtatious dance between man and woman in a graceful way with tambourines by the women.

4. Bulaklakan dance: Dance during May Feast day, the girls hold a garland of leaves and flowers attached to a wire, bamboo or rattan.

5. Obando dance: A dance by barren mothers on the feast day to plead for regeneration.

6. Tinolabong dance: The dance imitates the movement of the Tonolabong bird, which rides atop a carabao (Buffalo) while picking insects off its back.

7. Bailes de Antano dance: A ceremonial dance from the bride and groom before wedding.

8. Kunday-Kunday dance: A dance by children, Kunday means to move the hands gracefully.

9. Tinikling Dance: Best known of all Philippine dances from the island of Leyte. The dancers step in and out of two bamboo poles that are rhytmically claplped together.

11. Finale Dance: Singkil The most exotic of all Muslim dances. A dance from a prince and a princess. They cross bamboo poles clapped in syncophated rythm.
